Our Journey

We have started our journey in the year 2000, and the first shop was opened in Lobatse with the name Build It in the year 2000. In the same year, we opened the 2nd shop in Pitsane, 30 Km from the existing store, and that store was taken over from one company named Barolong Timber & Hardware.

• Year 2000 - Build It
• Year 2004 - Changed to Choppies Hardware
• Year 2011 - Changed to Choppies Build & Save Hardware Stores
• Year 2013 - Changed to Builders Mart Hardware Stores

Years later, we have 30 shops in Botswana with 400 employees on board.

• We are known in the market for the best-quality material at an affordable price.
• We are targeting the middle- and lower-middle-class customer segment in rural areas of Botswana.
